Melinda & greg
- Owners -
Meet the owners of Sugar Spring Weddings & Events. These two entrepreneurs have owned and operated over 10 businesses but always dreamed of opening a barn wedding venue. They were determined to build the best and were hands-on in creating each of our unique locations. Melinda & Greg enjoy popping by to view the lively receptions and seeing the venues filled with love and happiness.
Ashley
- banquet Manager -
Meet the banquet manager of Sugar Spring Weddings & Events. Ashley has been involved since the concept of our venues and has assisted in opening all of our locations. When she first started in our business, Ashley was the sole event coordinator but her passion and drive for creating beautiful events is what led to her becoming our team manager.
Before joining our team, Ashley worked for Disney and has worked in all aspects of the wedding industry. From bartending, to officiating, to wedding planning and decorating, she has thoroughly enjoyed each role along the way. Her diverse experience and work ethic have encouraged her to pursue excellence in leadership.

Beginning with your initial inquiry until the big day itself, Ashley is the point of contact for all of our couples. Coordinating and organizing details as you prepare for your event with us, pairing you with a fabulous day of coordinator, and manages other behind the scene needs to help make every event run as perfectly as possible. She is always happy to talk about events and enjoys answering questions to assist in your planning process!
Brittany
- Event Coordinator & Assistant Banquet Manager-
The Sugar Spring Weddings & Events team welcomed Brittany in 2023 as an event coordinator, and she has since grown into the role of our assistant banquet manager.

A 2021 graduate of Belmont University, Brittany specialized in large-scale event coordination. The skills she developed throughout her studies have equipped her with practical, hands-on tools that have become invaluable assets to our team and have supported the continued growth of our family-owned business.

Easygoing and level-headed, Brittany brings a calm and reassuring presence to every event. From the initial tour until that dazzling send off, our couples can trust they are in capable hands. She has become an essential part of the Sugar Spring team, consistently helping to create seamless and memorable celebrations.
Angela
- Event Coordinator -
Joining our company in 2020 during the construction of our first venue, Angela has been a hands-on member of our team. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that our venues are kept in pristine condition. Her dedicated work ethic and attention to detail are simply unmatched.

Angela has one of the biggest hearts and kindest souls. She is constantly seeking the opportunity to assist in making events beautiful and creating connections with all of our guests. Her love for helping has empowered her to introduce those with neuro diversities to join our team. The supportive nature of Angela is perfect for leading this inclusive program.

No matter the task at hand, Angela is a trustworthy source to accomplish the job. One of her biggest joys is being able to be part of the events and introduce new members to our team.
Kim
- Event Coordinator -
Kim joined Sugar Spring Weddings & Events with over 20 years of full-service event production experience. As a seasoned event specialist, she has crafted the art of careful planning and event strategy. It is her passion to create thoughtfully polished and beautifully designed events that capture the essence of each of her clients' unique vision.

Kim is a true ray of sunshine! Her positive attitude, paired with her ambitious spirit, is sure to help make any day shine. She takes pride in every step of the planning process and has a keen eye for caring for each detail involved. Kim also helps coordinate and plan the specialty events at all of the Sugar Spring venues! Her creative mind has been a wonderful addition to our team!

Sam
- Sugar Spring Ranch Mascot -
Meet the one-of-a-kind venue mascot, Sam, the zebra. Sam came to our farm in 2014 and is a real party animal! He enjoys taking pictures with wedding couples and grazing through the pastures. At night, Sam loves to look up at The Ranch and admire the disco lights from his field. Feel free to wave hello when you see him walking around on sunny days!
Urie
- Pest Control Manager -
Meet our pest control manager! She does an excellent job keeping out those who are not permitted in our venue. Urie resides in the barn next door to Sugar Spring Ranch, but wanders over sometimes to say hello during tours. While Urie is friendly and enjoys pets, she dislikes crowds and makes herself scarce on busier days. Most days she spends laying by the lake and keeping a watchful eye on the property.
